With the caveat I noted before – that it will take a long time before life for those directly affected is back to normal – London is almost completely as it was before the bombs. There is little perceptible difference between pre-Thursday London and post-Thursday London, save the areas the bomb hit and a higher presence of police at certain other points. In fact, I’m posting this to draw a line under the previous post and move on – it seems odd to just directly return to your usual programming. I’m proud to live in a city – to be part of a city – which has taken that directly on the chin … and then just picked itself up, dusted itself down and got back to business within about a day.
Finally, an apposite thought, found by 2lmc. The sun is shining and it’s a beautiful summer’s day in London …
