The second in an occasional series. Last year I snapped Miyamoto fans on Oxford St and made some hamfisted point about kids who used to queue for rock stars now queue for video game creators. Some of you may have heard that a new version of an operating system was released last night – and lo, here’s the queue outside Micro Anvika on London’s Oxford Street.

Oddly, not only did I bump into Matt Jones winding up Tom Coates, Matt Webb, Nick Ludlam et al further up the queue, but a charming French gentleman asked if I could email him one of my snaps, for inclusion on a Franco-Swiss Macintosh user site. And look – there it is.
