If you can ignore the dreadful intro, there’s a cute little Flash thing here which compares Harry Beck’s original 1933 London Underground map with the 2003 version, and then the geographical ‘reality’.

  1. Wish I’d have seen the ‘Real Underground’ with the overland map and the stations marked when I was living in London for a 2 month assignment. I love the metamorphosis of the maps . . . fascinating to see the river shift.
