Matt's recommendation of Global Frequency made me step out looking for it. Finally found issue #3 in Newcastle branch of Forbidden Planet (why is finding comics so difficult?). Before that, I stumbled across the latest compendium of another fine Warren Ellis strip, Transmetropolitan.

Transmetropolitan: Spider's Thrash is excellent as ever (foreword by Darren Aronofsky). For ages now, I've been meaning to do a round-up of recent city-based comics—one day.

Anyway, I hugely enjoyed even this sliver of Global Frequency. In fact, the whole central theme—a memetic virus—reminded me of a particular model in Marco Susani's excellent "Mapping Communication" talk at Doors (linked to by Otwell) i.e. 'The Flames'

Nice to be able to tie a comic to a diagram to illustrate a point like that.
